">The Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre is a multi-purpose venue offering various facilities and programs to cater to the needs of its members. We are currently seeking an experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team as a Health and Fitness Instructor.
">About the Role
">This role requires you to be customer-focused at all times, providing exceptional service to our members in a professional and timely manner. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive engagement through member retention tools and deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, and provide members with advice on health and fitness.
">Duties and Responsibilities
">- ">
- Develop and deliver effective group training programs tailored to meet the needs of our members;">
- Conduct gym inductions and provide guidance on exercise techniques and safety protocols;">
- Provide expert advice on health and fitness to our members, promoting wellness and encouraging positive lifestyle choices;">
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing cleaning duties as required;">
- Assist with member enquiries and escalate complaints where necessary;">
- Work flexible shifts including morning, afternoon, and weekend hours;">
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.">

Requirements and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
">- ">
- A Certificate III in Fitness or recognised tertiary education equivalent;">
- Demonstrated experience as a Fitness Instructor with a proven ability for high-level exercise prescription and small group training;">
- Exercise Professional Registration;">
- Additional accreditation in specialised programming/training desirable but not essential.">
