Job Title: Research Development Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Research Development Director to lead our research projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing research proposals, managing research initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in research proposal development, research management, or R&D leadership roles. You will have a proven track record of translating complex technical challenges into structured research programs and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement research strategies to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead research initiatives from concept to completion, including problem identification, project design, governance, reporting, stakeholder management, and implementation.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, quality, cost, resources, and risk to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop research solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as science, environment, engineering, technology, innovation management, business, or commercialisation.
  • Extensive experience in research proposal development, research management, or R&D leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical challenges into structured research or innovation programs.
  • Technical expertise in research and development, technology, and innovation.
