**Indirect Procurement Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in Australia. This 12-month contract presents an excellent chance for a procurement professional to contribute to the company's growth and development.

About Our Client:

The company is a global leader in the hospitality industry, boasting over $3BN+ in revenue. As a successful business, they are now looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to enhance their procurement function and uncover opportunities through better awareness of indirect procurement spend across Australian operations.

This role involves managing various non-material procurement categories, fostering stakeholder relationships, and optimizing systems and processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Procurement Management: Acquiring quotations, maintaining pricing systems, and analyzing category spend analysis, PPV management, and setting budget standard prices.
  • Tender Analysis: Analyzing RFP, RFO, and tender responses received from the market.
  • Spending Analysis: Assessing business risks to identify and prioritize procurement initiatives.
  • Cost Reduction Strategies: Developing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate risks in areas such as property, linen, uniform, and equipment.
  • Contract Management: Overseeing non-material procurement categories, ensuring all supply arrangements are documented with appropriate contracts.
  • Tender Evaluation: Leading the creation and evaluation of tender documents, ensuring thorough analysis and effective decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Creating and refining a comprehensive procurement application process for non-material needs.
  • Template Maintenance: Maintaining and enhancing procurement templates, including supply contracts and tender documents.
  • Savings Identification: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies through tenders and negotiations with suppliers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Promoting ongoing process improvements and strengthening supplier relationships.
  • Buy-in Gained: Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain buy-in for sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives.

About You:

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role.
  • Indirect Procurement Expertise: Demonstrated experience in indirect procurement, preferably with a focus on broad category experience.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in business management, supply chain management, or a related field (desired).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on your level of expertise and qualifications.
