RAC Auto Services is committed to providing exceptional support and maintenance for our members within the community. We are enhancing our fleet of Mobile Service Vans and are excited to offer this opportunity for skilled and experienced Technicians to step outside traditional workshop environments and engage with our customers directly.

Our Mobile Technicians operate in community 'hubs' surrounding our metro-based auto service centres. We are currently seeking candidates across our entire network.

Your responsibilities:

When our members are unable to bring their vehicles to our workshops for scheduled maintenance, our Mobile Service Van delivers a 'mini workshop on wheels' directly to them.

  • Delivering outstanding customer service, guidance, and solutions for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Performing fault diagnostics and executing high-quality services, inspections, and repairs.
  • Servicing and repairing a variety of light vehicles.
  • Documenting vehicle details, parts utilized, and completed tasks.
  • Maintaining repair orders, cleanliness of the van, tools, and inventory.
  • Completing data entry, record maintenance, invoicing, receipting, and accurate allocation of part numbers on repair orders and invoices.
  • Assisting with servicing and repairs at RAC Auto Services workshops as needed.

What we seek in candidates:

  • Light Vehicle Automotive Technician qualification (Trade qualification).
  • Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and diagnostic skills.
  • C Class Manual Driving License.
  • Motor Vehicle Repair Licence (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service abilities and a knack for fostering positive workplace relationships.
