The Geelong Gallery is a highly respected public gallery in Australia, known for its progressive approach to arts and culture. As the Audience Engagement & Learning Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the gallery's engagement strategy and developing innovative programs to engage current audiences and grow new ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver education programs based on the gallery's collection and exhibitions for early learning, primary and secondary students in the Geelong region.
  • Develop and provide professional development workshops for art teachers and other relevant groups in the region.
  • Design and implement innovative Learn resources linked to the permanent collection and exhibitions program.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Curator to develop public programs for general audiences (all ages and abilities) aligned with the collection and exhibitions.
  • Program the Learn Space, including the delivery of the annual Future Creatives student exhibition.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in program evaluation and audience research.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
