Job Overview

The Regional Delivery Manager will oversee the compliance activities associated with identifying, onboarding, and managing delivery partners. This includes ensuring 100% compliance with agreements, reviewing commercial arrangements, and assessing requests for increases.

This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with operational business units and maintain productive partnerships. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience in a Transport or 3PL environment, with a deep understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Road compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all delivery partners engaged by our organization have a valid agreement in place, encompassing detailed scope, fleet, and capability evidence.
  • Review and assess commercial arrangements and cost-to-service for delivery partner work.
  • Manage the registration and compliance status of all delivery partners using relevant platforms.
  • Maintain and assure compliance activity through regular investigation, interview, and audit.
  • Work collaboratively with operational business units to build and sustain productive partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Transport or 3PL environment.
  • Ability to use work and life experience to adapt to a new work environment.
  • Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Road compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to take a holistic business approach and work collectively across all facets of a business.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation.
  • Commercial acumen, safety, and incident investigation experience.
  • Compliance and contract governance knowledge essential.
