Expert Software Craftsman Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled software craftsman to join our team in delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions using the OutSystems low-code platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analysing business requirements and providing technical recommendations for OutSystems applications.
  • Designing and developing reusable components, workflows, and functionalities that adhere to architectural patterns.
  • Building, unit-testing, and deploying OutSystems applications that meet WCAG accessibility and security compliance standards.
  • Ensuring applications are coded in line with coding protocols, privacy, and security standards.
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation and following development best practices.
  • Driving continuous improvement across applications and environments.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior developers.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in web application development.
  • Strong experience with OutSystems or similar low-code platforms.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React/Angular.
  • Experience with REST/JSON APIs and SQL performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like TFS, GIT, JIRA.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, or a related field (desired).

To be considered, you must be an Australian Citizen based in Victoria and hold a Federal Government Baseline clearance.
