The Clinical Genetics Service
Our Clinical Genetics Service coordinates clinical genetics services at Austin Health, Eastern Health, and Northern Health. We also conduct Familial Cancer clinics in Albury/Wodonga, Ballarat, and Shepparton.
Job Description
This role involves:
- Receiving and reviewing cancer genetics referrals
- Facilitating genetic testing with informed consent
- Following up on test results and communicating with patients and clinicians
- Collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive genetic services
About the Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a skilled nurse with experience in oncology nursing. The ideal candidate will have:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Experience working in oncology nursing
- A patient-centered approach to care
- A commitment to ongoing education and skill development
- A flexible and innovative approach to service delivery
