Our company is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support embedded systems that integrate with industrial equipment and monitoring solutions.Maintain and enhance STM32 firmware across a range of industrial controllers. Develop and refine TouchGFX-based touchscreen interfaces for field devices.We require a strong proficiency with STM32 microcontrollers and STM32CubeIDE. C/C++ programming skills for real-time applications (FreeRTOS or similar) are essential.Debugging tools: ST-LINK, SWD/JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analysers. Experience in process automation, flow measurement, or instrumentation systems is preferred.Embedded Linux and edge computing exposure is beneficial. Secure communications (TLS/SSL, secure boot, firmware signing) are required.Brief overview of the role:
  • Maintain and enhance existing firmware
  • Develop new touchscreen interfaces
  • Integrate with sensors, flowmeters, PLCs, and SCADA systems
  • Implement reliable communications protocols
This role involves hands-on work with specialised hardware and real-world industrial systems.A small but innovative team is looking for someone who can bring ideas directly to the products.Long-term stability is offered with opportunities to grow as new technologies and products are developed.The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems engineering and proven product delivery with embedded UI/UX.Background in industrial automation, instrumentation, or control equipment is preferred.Key requirements include a strong understanding of C/C++, STM32 microcontrollers, and debugging tools.Familiarity with TouchGFX and embedded graphics development is also necessary.A passion for embedded systems and desire to see your work in real-world industrial applications is desired.Application questions:
