Exciting Opportunity as a Casual City Driver Heavy Rigid

Are you passionate about working in local government? Do you have experience in civil maintenance/construction or any maintenance practices related to Civil Infrastructure, preferably roads and drainage construction and maintenance?

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Casual City Driver Heavy Rigid. As a key member of the Roads & Drains team, you will be responsible for maintaining the city by undertaking laboring duties and operating Works unit plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake laboring duties and operate Works unit plant and equipment in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Supervise and/or assist in the training of other Roads & Drains team members or casual hire staff as required

Requirements:

  • Current Victorian MR Drivers Licence
  • Certificate of competency for a relevant item of plant
  • Ability to operate a range of Roads & Drains plants and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
