Our client is a leading FMCG brand in the Australian market, renowned for delivering high-quality products to customers. As we embark on an exciting new chapter by bringing our supply chain operations in-house, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a strategic thinker to develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our direct-to-market approach and long-term goals.
  • The successful candidate will establish and nurture relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure reliable, cost-effective sourcing.
  • This role involves designing and managing in-house logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation, to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • The Supply Chain Manager will oversee inventory management processes, optimizing stock levels, reducing waste, and ensuring product availability.
  • Collaboration with sales and production teams is essential to create accurate demand forecasts and production schedules, balancing customer demand with supply chain capabilities.
  • The ideal candidate will identify and implement continuous improvements across supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • They must also anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, fluctuations in demand, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven managerial experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry is required.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and their dependencies is crucial.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • The ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team is vital.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills are essential.
