The Queensland Government's Rural Fire Service is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Development Specialist to fill the role of Area Training Officer. This position is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and delivering training programs to volunteers and brigades across the region.
About the Role
- Coordinate and deliver training programs to meet the needs of volunteers and brigades.
- Facilitate and evaluate training activities to ensure compliance with RTO and organisational audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brigades and stakeholders to identify training needs and opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of the annual training plan and provide input into training curriculum and materials.
Key Requirements
- Mandatory requirements and attributes as outlined in the generic RFSQ Rural Officer Two (RFSO2) role description.
- Knowledge of or experience working with volunteers and/or within a volunteer organisation.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education or equivalent.
