We are seeking an experienced Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Thomastown. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-going maintenance of machinery, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities meet quality and performance expectations.
- Carry out breakdown, preventative, and proactive maintenance to maintain the overall health and reliability of equipment, machines, and services.
- Report breakdowns and idle time to the direct manager and assist in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Focus on effective preventative maintenance programs and communicate breakdowns, improvements, and modifications during shifts.
- Work flexible hours and support business needs when required.
- Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
- Experience in industry/manufacturing, high-speed, 24/7 production environments.
- 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
