Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver innovative teaching and learning programs that cater to the needs of students and industry partners.
- Implement industry-leading practices and leverage modern learning technologies to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Work closely with a team of educational professionals to plan, deliver, assess, and evaluate top-tier education and training programs.
- Customize and adjust programs to meet the varied needs of learners and clients, spanning from certificate courses to diplomas and associate degrees.
- Teach and assess units from our current Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) program, on campus, online, hybrid, and in workplaces.
- Current building, construction, or related engineering industry experience of at least 3 years.
- Demonstrated ability to implement high-quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, reflecting an understanding of successful approaches to Building and Construction teaching.
- Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customized, and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.
- Current and extensive technical knowledge of the building and construction industry legislations and planning requirements.
- Current and extensive technical knowledge of the building and construction industry contracts, tender process, estimating, and project management.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116.
- Current and extensive technical knowledge of the National Construction Code and workplace safety legislation.
- Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) or equivalent qualifications; or have sufficient and current vocational competence that would allow for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to be completed.
- A current driver's license (where workplace delivery is required).
