**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing roofs on various types of buildings.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Perform repairs to damaged or leaking roofs.
**Qualifications:**
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years experience in the trade.
  • Language proficiency in English.
**Work Environment:**
  • Location: Sidney, BC V8L 1Z5.
  • Work location: On the road.
  • Work site environment: At heights; Noisy; Outdoors.
  • Work setting: Various locations.
**Benefits:**
  • $26.00 per hour.
  • 40 to 50 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment, Full time.
  • Shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, On call.
**Eligibility:**
  • A Canadian citizen.
  • A permanent resident of Canada.
  • A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit.
