Job Overview

Rubix Solutions, a leading global IT consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced SAP Finance specialist for an immediate start with our esteemed client.

The role would suit a senior SAP FICO consultant with exposure and experience in BPC and REFX, highly prized. This is a client-side project within government, predominantly support-based, enhancing services, and an element of ticket handling.

About the Role

This permanent opening offers a negotiable salary based on experience. The ideal candidate must be based in Brisbane, as no FIFO or interstate/remote options are considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolving issues within the specified time limits in SLA's.
  • Interacting with users daily to ensure timely closing of tickets.
  • Assisting users in period-end activities.
  • Preparing functional specifications and interacting with Abapers to develop.
  • Attending and conducting weekly meetings with the client.
  • Proactively discussing critical issues with other functional consultants.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of FI experience.
  • Considerable experience in SAP ECC FICO, including a minimum of 3 E2E implementations in an FI lead capacity (lead experience essential).
  • Minimum of 2 roll-out and support projects within SAP FICO.
  • Strong SAP FI configuration skills - must have experience writing functional specifications for complex developments.
  • SAP CO working knowledge desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of integration and interfaces to deal with legacy systems.
  • Experienced with data migration and working on LMSW.
  • Must have worked on SAP support projects and familiar with support mode - CSF, KRA, or KPI.
  • Experience in Treasury and Risk Management along with Liquidity Management.
  • Certification highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in Finance accounting, accounts payable/receivable, asset, cost element & centre accounting.
  • SAP BPC experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in REFX preferred.
  • Fed Gov domain experience nice to have.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
