Job Summary:
Category 5 Labour Management is a leading labour hire company providing skilled trades and maintenance personnel to various industries in the Pilbara region. We are seeking an experienced Electrician with a strong background in fixed plant maintenance to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment, including generators and distribution boards.
- Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Work from schematic drawings, prints, or plans to complete tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Current WA driver's license.
- WA A Grade Electrical License.
- LVR, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
- Confined space, working at heights, and First Fire Attack Certificates issued within 5 years.
- Ability to obtain MSIC.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Ability to pass an extensive medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Fixed plant experience.
- Fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work from schematic drawings, prints, or plans.
- Experience with generator maintenance and preventative maintenance of distribution boards.
