About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Southern NSW Local Health District. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and clients across our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients and clients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health centers, and residential care facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize own work/caseload across a regional area.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice relevant to clinical discipline.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
