Casual Physiotherapy Role
About the PositionNorthern Health is seeking a motivated and suitably experienced physiotherapist to join their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-level, evidence-based physiotherapy care across acute, subacute, and community programs.
The role requires flexibility in service delivery models to adjust to the needs of patients across the healthcare continuum. The casual physiotherapist may provide informal supervision of junior staff or Allied Health Assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provision of physiotherapy care to patients in acute, subacute, and community settings
- Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Sound clinical skills
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
