Educational Facilitator for IT and Cyber Security Programs

Chisholm Institute seeks an experienced and skilled Educational Facilitator to join our team in delivering high-quality education programs in IT and Cyber Security. This is a casual teaching position that requires the ability to plan, deliver, and assess educational practices across various aspects of delivery, planning, and performance.
About the RoleThis role focuses on excellence in planning and conducting teaching and assessment, as well as resource development and educational administration. As an Educational Facilitator, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective education practices and delivery sessions that engage learners;
- Ensuring that teaching materials and resources meet regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements;
- Maintaining a positive learning environment by encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning;
- Adapting learning and assessment materials to cater to different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources;
- Providing administrative support and coordination activities directly related to the areas taught;
- Assisting in the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs;
- Maintaining a respectful and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. A strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching, and learning is also essential. You will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent;
- A relevant or equivalent industry VET qualification in areas such as IT, Cyber Security, or Software Development;
- Vocational currency demonstrated through work experience and related qualifications;
- Registration with relevant industry bodies;
- A record of Vocational Competency and Professional Currency demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Chisholm Institute offers a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
