Support Worker for Young People

This role focuses on providing intensive therapeutic care to young people with medium to high needs.

  • You will supervise and support the daily life of the young person, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain caring relationships with the young person, promoting self-esteem, health, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the young person in daily activities.
  • Provide trauma-informed care and ensure the young person's physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Document incidents and complete shift reports as required.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Youth Work or a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with children/young people in a community service setting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
