We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee the Conference & Events / Banquets Department. As the ideal candidate, you will possess a passion for conference and events, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all banquet functions, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Liaise with clients and event planners to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Manage banquet inventory, including linens, tableware, and equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen and catering teams to ensure timely food and beverage service.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Conference & Events outlet.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Micros knowledge desirable.
- Able to work full-time, across a flexible 7-day roster.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle increase in workload during peak times.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
