Job Title: Teaching Assistant

At Waverley Christian College, we are seeking to appoint two talented individuals to join our teaching team as Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about education and want to make a difference in the lives of students.

This fixed-term position offers you the chance to work, earn, and learn – combining paid, hands-on classroom experience with your studies towards a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching at Eastern College Australia or Christian Heritage College through CITE Alliance Victoria.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and contributing to the educational and personal growth of our students. You will be responsible for assisting with lesson preparation, providing feedback to students, and supporting their pastoral and wellbeing needs. You will also be actively involved in the faith life of the school through devotions, worship, and community events.

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and who are committed to the values and ethos of Christian education. The successful applicant must be enrolled to study as a CITE Alliance student with Eastern College Australia or Christian Heritage College, have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate, and be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
