Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Botanist to join our Flora and Vegetation Team in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking flora and vegetation surveys, analyzing ecological data, and preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive flora and vegetation surveys in remote and diverse environments across Western Australia.
  • Analyze ecological data and prepare clear, concise technical reports.
  • Liaise with technical and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, and tender documents to support project development.
  • Receive mentoring to develop your technical skills further and drive your career progression.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in biological or environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years related experience in undertaking flora and vegetation surveys, ideally with an environmental consultancy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting skills.
  • The desire and ability to undertake field work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and embrace innovation.
