\Engineering Leadership Role\

At Aurora, we seek an experienced Assistant Engineering Manager with a strong passion for coastal and offshore engineering.

\

This role involves leadership and technical expertise, ensuring effective mentoring of staff, planning and execution of engineering work by the team.

  • \
  • Manage internal engineering / technical tasks, consulting Principal Engineers;\
  • Assist the engineering team to deliver tasks on time and budget, including progress tracking and reporting;\
  • Provide discipline expertise, guidance and coaching staff on company projects;\
  • Support the engineering team from a technical and management perspective, including formal and informal mentoring;\
  • Lead and manage junior engineers;\
  • Work collaboratively with Principal Engineering experts;\
  • Provide technical leadership in areas of personal experience including seabed mobility, scour erosion and sedimentation, seabed intervention and remediation, GIS management of data and knowledge;\
  • Report project status and progress to clients and company management on regular basis;\
  • Engage with Aurora's management team, assisting and supporting the Engineering Manager, Operations Manager and Managing Director.\

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of offshore engineering concepts, hydrodynamics, structural response modelling and geotechnics, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

They will hold more than ten years' experience in offshore renewable energy with a Bachelor or Master's qualification in relevant fields.
