About the Role

We are seeking a mid-senior level Beauty Editor to join our team. In this role, you will shape Howatson+Company's key client, Myer's beauty storytelling across digital platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and writing high-impact beauty content for Myer's digital channels, ensuring every piece aligns with the brand's tone, audience interests, and commercial goals.

Crafting compelling beauty stories is at the heart of this role. You will ideate, produce, and publish engaging beauty content tailored to Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.

As a Beauty Editor, you will oversee the posting and scheduling of beauty content, ensuring seamless execution across digital channels.

Using analytics tools to track content success, you will refine strategies accordingly and experiment with new content formats to deepen engagement and drive conversions.

About You
  • You have a deep understanding of beauty trends, skincare innovations, and digital storytelling.
  • You know your way around a viral makeup hack, the latest skincare ingredients, or how to translate seasonal beauty trends into must-have edits.
  • You are an expert in creating engaging social-first beauty content, including trend-driven TikTok scripts, in-depth skincare guides, fragrance storytelling, and compelling Instagram captions.
  • You have a strong background in collaboration and ideation, working closely with internal teams and external creatives to align content with Myer's wider beauty campaigns.
