We are seeking an accomplished Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a driven accounting professional to leverage their expertise in financial management, business partnering, and strategic planning.
- This role involves close-knit collaboration with the Head of Finance, assisting in timely and accurate month-end closing, business partnering, costing, and modeling commercial business cases.
- The ideal candidate will possess CA/CPA qualification, at least 5 years of experience in a relevant finance role, and strong drive to achieve under pressure and meet deadlines.
About the Role:
This senior leadership position requires an exceptional individual who can drive continuous improvement, identify areas for optimization, and implement process enhancements.
- Key responsibilities include complete end-to-end monthly reporting, maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, preparation of BAS, annual tax, and FBT returns, reconciliation of account balances, and support for annual audits and financial statement preparation.
- The successful candidate will also assist in management reporting, FP&A activities, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will likely have:
- A strong background in finance, including experience with tax effect accounting and product-based environments.
- A proven track record of driving results, working collaboratively, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and establish new processes.
