As a Mechanical Equipment Specialist at Ventia, you will play a critical part in maintaining the operational efficiency of our clients' infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your mechanical aptitude and technical expertise to ensure that equipment functions optimally.

Ventia is a dynamic organisation with a rich history, providing contract maintenance and miscellaneous services work for various clients, including our longstanding alliance with BlueScope at the Port Kembla Steelworks. As a leading provider of infrastructure services, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support in relevant disciplines to ensure effective equipment operation and maintenance.
- Capture maintenance history and ensure key spares and components are fit for purpose and available when required.
- Develop scope, plans, and provide support for scheduling activities for routine maintenance, shutdown, and breakdown tasks.
- Create work orders within the plant maintenance management system (SAP) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Diploma of Engineering or willingness to work towards this qualification immediately.
- Relevant industry experience.
- OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- NSW Drivers Licence.
About the Location
This role is based in the Illawarra region, providing an excellent opportunity to enjoy a coastal lifestyle while working at one of Australia's most iconic industrial sites.
Estimated Salary Range: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
