Key Role Summary

The Area Manager will be responsible for managing a region of stores in Melbourne, working closely with store leaders to ensure business goals and policies are understood and applied by all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and direct stores within the State to achieve sales goals and customer service standards.
  • Work with store leaders to drive sales outcomes and KPIs through a hands-on leadership approach with regular time spent in stores.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create a buzz and sense of excitement in-store to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure key metrics such as Sales, Payroll, Shrinkage, and Expense budgets are achieved.

Requirements

  • Significant leadership experience in successfully managing a similar-sized portfolio of retail stores.
  • Proven track record of driving sales outcomes and KPIs through a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Ability to create high levels of customer advocacy in a de-centralized store network.
  • Experience in people management and development to ensure customer service standards are achieved.
