About the Role
This key position will be responsible for engaging with doctors, promoting hospital services, and driving referral growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute strategies that support growth in key specialties.
- Promote specialists and build referrals through GP practice visits and a CPD program.
- Develop targeted communications to profile new and existing medical specialists and services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing GP practices in our catchment.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
- Maintain and grow our GP database, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
- Provide regular reports to evaluate effectiveness of activities and demonstrate ROI through increased referrals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a business development or similar role in healthcare.
- Understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers including GPs, other specialists, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Experience using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
- Experience with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.
