Research Scientist in Environmental Sustainability

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to our environmental engineering initiatives. This role will focus on developing scholarly research and professional activities through defined projects.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain and develop scholarly research and professional activities through defined projects.
- Support teaching and learning within the School, collaborating with industry stakeholders and engaging with practitioners in Australian water and resource industries.
- Undertake high-quality academic research, conducting independent and applied research with limited supervision.
- Publish and present at conferences; build relationships across disciplines.
- A PhD in Environmental Engineering and relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of air quality and treatment, water quality and management, chemical and sensory odorant analysis, data science including bioinformatics and/or machine learning.
- Ability to collaborate with practitioners in Australian water and resource industries, conduct independent and applied research, and possess a strong publication track record.
- Excellent team collaboration, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and students.
