The Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa, located on the famous Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia, is a premier resort holiday destination that offers exceptional career opportunities in the hospitality industry.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exit and emergency lighting, performing preventative maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment, and attending to after-hours call-outs as required.

About the Role:

  • Maintenance of exit and emergency lighting, including 6-monthly testing and servicing;
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on all laundry and kitchen equipment;
  • RCD testing on all electrical switchboards;
  • Performing monthly generator servicing;
  • UPS testing and maintenance;
  • Repair and replacement of smoke alarm systems;
  • Attending to any resort after-hour call-outs as required.

Requirements:

  • A Western Australian 'A' grade Electrical License;
  • A current manual driver's license;
  • Electrical Contractors ticket preferred;
  • The ability to prioritize work load and communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Hotel or Resort environment is desirable.
