Our clinical team is seeking a skilled mental health professional to provide specialist services in the community.
About this OpportunityThe role will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and involves working with individuals who are experiencing acute mental health problems.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives, promoting effective mental health interventions in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Mental health assessments and determining an appropriate care pathway.
- Short-term mental health treatment in the community as an alternative to hospitalization.
- In-reach to hospital to promote effective follow-up post-mental health admission.
- Collaborative care for individuals transferring between hospital and community settings.
This model provides short-term mental health interventions in the community for individuals experiencing mental health distress.
Ideal Candidate- Recognised nursing qualifications and current registration with AHPRA.
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated competencies to deliver contemporary mental health practice.
