Site Operations Manager

This is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Operations Manager opportunity to support the business at our mine site.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the management of operations, including leadership, direction, and safe operational performance of teams working on site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership of the region, delivering scope of work along with improved safety performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Develop the culture of a safe, innovative, and performance-focused business
  • Ensure compliance to all legal and statutory requirements
  • Lead by example in adhering and demonstrating company standards, policies, procedures, and values
  • In collaboration with peers and the business, have a strong focus on the delivery of standardisation and innovation for the region
About You
  • Operational experience in earthmover tyre, mining, and/or related industry in a supervisory or equivalent leadership role
  • Knowledge of tyres or mining/heavy haulage industries
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business improvement and safety improvement initiatives in remote teams
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of earthmover tyre fitting experience
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical - Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR 21920) or similar
