**Job Summary**

This is a challenging role that involves the routine maintenance and upkeep of Departmental Schools/grounds.

As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks to ensure the school facilities are well maintained and safe for students and staff.

The successful candidate will have good planning and prioritising skills, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep tasks
  • Identify and report maintenance and safety issues
  • Receive, store and distribute supplies
  • Monitor equipment and report faults

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Good planning and prioritising skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
