Heavy Diesel Mechanic Role

As a skilled professional in a dynamic and rewarding career, you will play a key role in maintaining the health and safety of our equipment and operations.

About the Position
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on mobile fleet and other equipment according to our servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation.
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant manuals, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Ensure high housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Carry out pre-start checks on equipment before each shift.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in mining or heavy earth moving industries.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mobile equipment.
  • Desirable: experience in vehicle air conditioning systems and HR drivers license.
  • Proven commitment to health and safety at all times.
