Dietitian Role in Community Rehabilitation Services

We are seeking a talented Dietitian to join our dynamic team in Community Rehabilitation, providing clinical evidence-based care to patients within the community.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients with varying clinical presentations, including malnutrition, oncology, cardiac, pulmonary, gastroenterology, and more. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy diversity and variety, and love seeing the direct positive impact community rehabilitation has on patient lives.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with nurses and allied health professionals to optimize nutrition care for patients. About This Role:

  • Champion the importance of nutrition care across community rehab sites
  • Establish strong relationships within the multidisciplinary team to optimize nutrition care
  • Empower the team to drive research and impactful quality improvement projects
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning, and accountability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics (or recognized equivalent)
  • Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program
  • A team player with proactive attitude and experience working with complex clients in a clinical/community setting
