Job Summary

As a Junior Storeperson, you will be responsible for unloading, loading, and dispatch of products in the warehouse based in Eastern Creek (Sydney). Your primary duties will include carrying out physical stock management, undertaking administrative duties, organisational skills, and loading/unloading goods from delivery vehicles, shipping containers, and rail containers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management
    • Carry out physical stock management, including cycle counts and the receipt, storing, and dispatch of goods
  • Administrative Duties
  • Undertake administrative duties as required for warehouse operations
Organisational Skills
  • Organisational skills and the capability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Loading and Unloading
  • Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, shipping containers, and rail containers
Warehouse Duties
  • Undertake any other warehouse duties within their capability as directed by the Warehouse Manager or DC Supervisor
Flexibility
  • Flexible start time between 5am-6am, with finish time 1:30pm-2:30pm

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse activities, including picking, packing, loading, unloading goods from vehicles, and forklift ticket
  • Hold a current forklift licence
  • Basic computer/pc operating knowledge
  • Experience with RF scanning
  • A desire to learn and be self-motivated with a positive, friendly approachable nature
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
