Visual Effects Supervisor

Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment.
We are currently seeking an experienced Visual Effects Supervisor with expertise in compositing to join our team.
As a key member of our VFX department, you will be responsible for overseeing the compositing process and ensuring that all final images meet the highest standards of quality.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of industry-standard software such as Nuke, Katana, and Arnold.
The successful candidate will have a superior eye for composition, colour, mood, and lighting, and be able to work collaboratively with artists, directors, and producers to bring creative visions to life.
About the role:
- Compositing Supervisor:
- Lead the compositing team to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows and processes to optimize production efficiency
- Collaborate with the art department to ensure seamless integration of visual effects
- Work closely with the VFX supervisor to ensure that all visual effects meet the client's expectations
- Assist in the development of bid documents and schedules for VFX projects
About you:
- Key qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in VFX supervision, with a focus on compositing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of industry-standard software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Passion for creating outstanding visuals and delivering exceptional results
Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
Location: Sydney, Australia
