Catering Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide exceptional client service, ensuring seamless delivery of all front-of-house catering services for clients, employees, partners, visitors, and events.

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for providing professional, friendly, and efficient day-to-day food and beverage service for clients and employees in internal and external boardroom meetings, conferences, and other events. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Deliver high-quality food and beverage services in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensure all food and beverage services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Food Service:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage client floor operations, including opening and closing the client floor, ensuring all tasks are completed for daily operations, including cleaning and restocking of staff hubs.

Client Floor Operations:

  • Restock staff hubs and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Open and close the client floor, ensuring all tasks are completed for daily operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment. Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Food Handling Certificate are essential requirements. Additional qualifications include flexibility to work outside standard business hours from time to time, coffee and hot beverage preparation experience, and knowledge of fine dining table setting is desirable.
