Key Responsibilities:

  • Car Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine overhauls, brake repairs, and transmission servicing.
  • Mechanical Unit Inspection: Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines and electrical systems, to locate faults.
  • Component Replacement: Replace and repair faulty parts such as brakes, steering mechanisms, and transmissions.
  • Scheduled Servicing: Perform scheduled vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all services and repairs conducted.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recent full-time experience working as a Motor Vehicle Repair Specialist.
  • Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology is mandatory.
  • Diploma of Automotive Technology will be highly regarded.
  • Diagnostic and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Vehicle Repair Knowledge: Knowledge of vehicle repair, safety, and maintenance protocols.
  • Teamwork and Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
