About the Role

Serco is a leading provider of defence services, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maritime Warfare Instructor to join our team.

As an Assistant Maritime Warfare Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering premier training to Maritime Warfare Officers, operating the simulator and facilitating realistic, scenario-based training. Your expertise will ensure RAN Officers receive the most accurate and effective preparation possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor and RAN staff to deliver high-quality training
  • Operate the simulator and facilitate scenario-based training
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of tactical training environments
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and materials
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 - SECRET defence security clearance or higher
  • Proven military experience with a strong understanding of tactical training environments
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of trust and responsibility
  • Passion for training and a desire to contribute to Defence operations in Australia
