Domain Engineering Lead

This pivotal role drives engineering strategy, quality and efficiency across various domains. Developing tailored solutions for each area of focus.

  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Tailor domain-specific engineering strategies by collaborating with senior management and the broader engineering community ensuring industry leading platforms, tools and governance.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Lead in areas such as Cloud Hosting and Integration Platforms, Engineering Tooling and SDLC & Governance.
  • Design Service Models: Continuously improve service models for each domain.
  • Drive Architecture Decisions: Balance benefits, total-cost-of-ownership, risk, security and vendor management while driving engineering platform architectural decisions.
  • Lead and Develop Teams: Foster an agile culture and support team growth.
  • Manage and Optimize Processes: Ensure financial performance is met.

To succeed you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to engage and interact effectively with a range of stakeholders including technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Subject matter expertise in Software Development, CI/CD technologies and Cloud Solutions Architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux) and associated programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python, TypeScript, Java, JavaScript, Go,.NET, Bash, SQL).
  • Proficiency designing CI/CD pipelines at scale using tools such as GitHub, Actions, and Advanced Security.
  • Experience working with data analysis and related technology (e.g. REST, GraphQL, SQL, PowerBI).
