Senior Data Architecture Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Data Architecture Manager to lead our data platform development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Data architecture, experience with scalable data platforms using technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and PySpark. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines using Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka, PySpark, and Python.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of data initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Big Data Lead/Architect (PySpark, Hadoop): Experience developing scalable data platforms with real-time streaming and batch data pipelines involving data ingestion and transformation leveraging Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka, PySpark, and Python.
  • Commercial and/or Cloud ETL tool experience.
  • Experience working with SparkSQL, HDFC, Hive, and Hadoop.
  • Spark with Java, Spark with Scala, and Spark with Python (PySpark).

Desirable Skills:

  • Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) experience.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Pandas library experience.
