We are seeking a Paediatrics Registrar to join our team and contribute to the provision of high-quality care to our patients.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Trainee in Paediatrics or an unaccredited Paediatric Registrar to develop their skills and expertise in General Paediatrics, including a perinatal component or Rural/regional training. The role is accredited through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics).


Key Responsibilities
  1. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including those requiring complex medical interventions;
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions;
  3. Participate in educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in paediatrics, neonatology, and child health.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A medical degree and/or relevant postgraduate qualifications;
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia;
  • Eligibility for fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
