As an Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal part in empowering individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment to achieve their career goals. Reporting directly to the Business Manager at our office in Taree NSW, you will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and job seekers, to deliver tailored employment solutions.

About The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our Disability Employment Services. As an Employment Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and securing employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers
  • Supporting job seekers to develop the skills and confidence required to become job-ready
  • Delivering quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhancing employability through training and support service referrals
  • Developing personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with local employers and community groups
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to have:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Willingness to complete a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
