About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Dymocks Training, a new division of Dymocks Education. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about adult education and training.

Company Overview

Dymocks Education has been trading in the Primary and High School tutoring environment for 3 years and has experienced significant growth. We are now expanding our educational activities to include adult education, and we are looking for talented individuals to help us achieve this goal.

Job Description

This is a casual contractor position, and as a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting training and assessment on-site and off-site. You will also participate in feedback collection and continuous improvement, assist in the development of learning materials, and perform general administration and record-keeping tasks.

You will have the opportunity to work with various groups and develop your skills in teaching and assessing adults. Our workshops will be ad-hoc initially, but as we grow, we expect to have more consistent schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Training and Assessment skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, and HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting units.
  • A relevant industry-approved Business Leadership qualification equivalent to AQF Level 4.
  • A current Working with Children Check or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $500-$200 per session, depending on the type of training provided. Additionally, if you have your own first aid equipment, you may be eligible for an extra $50 per day. As a casual contractor, you will be paid for each session you complete.

Working Conditions

You will be working across multiple locations in Sydney, including Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Parramatta, and Burwood. The expected working hours are 8 hours per day, but this may be subject to change.
