About This Role

We are seeking a talented Seafood Tour Guide to lead guided tours of the Sydney Fish Market. As a key ambassador for our organisation, you will be responsible for providing educational and entertaining experiences to visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of seafood and the industry, as well as excellent public speaking and communication skills. You will be able to tailor your tours to suit different groups and provide valuable insights into the world of seafood.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging guided tours of the Sydney Fish Market
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and respond to their queries in a professional manner
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and events
  • Promote the Sydney Fish Market and its products through social media and other channels
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a professional guiding or presenting role
  • Strong knowledge of seafood and the seafood industry
  • Excellent public speaking and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
