Senior Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Nursing Specialist to join our team in Queensland. This is a short-term contract opportunity that offers a rewarding experience and the chance to make a real impact in rural and remote communities.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration, national police check, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in rural and remote nursing. ED and aged care experience, as well as triage competency and ALS/PALS certificates, are also essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in rural and remote settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Develop and maintain knowledge of rural and remote health issues and best practices
This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $87.14 per hour (dependent on experience level), plus penalties. Additional benefits include free accommodation and travel assistance.
Requirements- Current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Rural and remote nursing experience (minimum 3 years)
- ED and aged care experience
- Triage competency
- ALS/PALS certificate
- Updated serology and immunisation evidence
- QLD CPD certificates (or willingness to obtain)
