Professional Exercise Physiologist Opportunity
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary medical center in Townsville, QLD. As an experienced Exercise Physiologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients including chronic disease referrals from general practice, private patients for weight loss and rehabilitation, injury management, defence and DVA clients, workers compensation cases, and rural outreach services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop exercise programs for clients with various health conditions.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Deliver outreach services and travel to rural areas as part of our contracts.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of exercise physiology principles, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Requirements:- Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA (Exercise & Sport Science Australia).
- Working With Children Card.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
